Summer painting

I love to work during the summer, because it’s a special moment. It’s a moment when you can focus only on painting because everybody is on holidays. There are no more emails, no more phone calls and no meetings, which can be exhausting the rest of the year because you are constantly interrupting the painting process. Painting requires long moments of time and concentration. With age and experience, I know that I can enter very quickly in a painting and fragment my time like that, working 2 hours here and there, but it’s very tiring. On the other hand when you focus one week or 10 days without interruption, efficiency is huge, and you can achieve a more powerful and effective work.

That’s why I love painting in the Summer.
